1990 Geo Storm GSi 1.6 DOHC 5-spd

Got this for a debt owed. I don't know much about it, but I do know that it runs and drives, but is missing on two cylinders. Body is rusty, but the undercarriage is solid. The other aluminum rim is in the hatch. Clutch seems to be good. Might run some tests on it in the morning. Have title in hand. Asking a whopping $300. MUST BE TOWED HOME.

as far as i no they werent half bad cars. i knew someone that had one for years. it would be worth the whole 300 dollars if you can fix the miss problem. might be something as easy as a distributor cap and rotor.

funny thing is... these storms came turbo! plenty of swaps you can do to one.

You could get a turbo AWD isuzu impulse which is the same thing. You couldnt get a turbo storm as far as I remember.

we drove it down our frontage road this morning. clutch works fine and the brakes work fine. starts up right away. if someone would put a little work into it, it would make a nice beater for the winter, hornet/enduro car, something... seriously, if no bites it's going to end up at the junkyard sometime this week.

Nope. Like arnie said, just the impulse RS was turbo. Same chassis, but AWD and 1.6L turbo. Amazing little motor actually, too bad they are insanely rare.
Only 900ish RS's ever brought to the states. I played with one for awhile, and cut another one up into little pieces. I have a friend who owns one (and refuses to sell it to me).

it ran and drove to the junkyard at a nice 55mph clip. actually, better than any of the dsm's i've owned. besides, what do you want for $300? metal flake paint and a body kit??? :runrofl:
