I'm posting this here to avoid any rule breaking in the for sale section.
My friend is selling his 1990 Talon TSI AWD as well has his 1996 Eclipse RS.

He's looking to make $2000 out of these two vehicles.

The RS is sorta rough, but it runs and drives...
It has some mods. Short shifter, apexi can, hooker headers, and I believe an MSD ignition system.
It also has a 2gb front bumper but its super fucked up.
It's 5 speed
He wants 1500 for it individually.

The TSI AWD for sale with a snapped timing belt. There has been no inspection since the belt snapped.
I don't believe there are any mods... just a huge exhaust, a turbo timer, and an aftermarket stereo.
The interior is clean but the headliner is screwed as well as the dash pieces aren't fitted well.
It's 5 speed
He wants 800 for it individually

Heres a pic of the 2g from a long time ago. No where near as nice.

I bought that talon from some one on the boards awhile ago, it was MEGA off timing when I got it. it jumped and I had to get the head redone. and it has arp head studs, auto-zone t-belt lasted for awhile I see. but besides that theres nothing special, its the talon you see in my sig, I liked to run in to snow banks with it for fun ;]

you still have either of them?
And yea I know what you mean about the now banks... it was a hell of alot of fun.
something about the first gen's.. Every first gen I drove in the winter had no grip and a 90 corner at 15 turned into a 540 corner all the time. And my 2nd gen. Never had that problem.

You obviously haven't driven many then.. Or you don't know how to drive..

Closer to the second then the first but both are far from true.
(having bald tires on ice didn't help much)
but for some reason with the same tires (Rim's/cheep Firestone all weather) switched straight over from my 1g to a 2g the 2g handled way better on ice. (same driver, same spot)
