autoX Lapping day at USA Int. Raceway, Shawano, WI July 16th

this is a lapping day where you can make laps but theres no passing i guess. i was there for a bit the 8th and there were 10 people there about, 1 dsm when i was there but earlier that day i guess there was 2 more
so theres another one this sunday, the 16th but im not sure if i will make it, i may stop by for an hour or 2 im not gona race cause my wheel would fall off but maybe some of u guys would want to meat at a time and say hi

i couldnt make it because of a junk alternator :dsm: but i wanted to i should make it next time tho

Well we only had one DSM acctually brake down. If you watch the vid you'll see. He ended up spinning a bearing so it looks like someone is getting all freshed forged internals. I blew a tire, and it happend to be on my street wheels and not my track wheels. Oh well, win some you lose some. Very fun weekend though. The Shawano lapping day on the 16th was cancelled. I'm good friends with Tom, who is the FVSCC President and he was telling me they need at least like 20 people to make it at least happen. Plus the weather was not the greatest because it was SOOO HOT that day. constant 15 minute beating on a car really makes it run hot and with nearly 100 degrees out, just asking for a car to overheat.

You guys missed out on a good time. Only about 2 DSM's there, me and my friend Paul with his FWD Laser. LOTS of evo's too. I strongly encourage people to go to this event, really fun and improve your driving skills like you would not believe. I used to never be able to keep up with the evo's and sti's, well now with more practice and experience, I am finally passing some of them.

Only about 2 DSM's there, me and my friend Paul with his FWD Laser. .
It a Talon. :race: And any FWD with power kinda sucks on this track, couldnt give it much more that a 1/3 throttle without burning out all the time. (although i was on street tires) A lot of fun though, it was my first time and I can defiently tell I got better as the day went on.

There is another lapping Day November 12th. Last time of the year. Any other DSM'rs comin? I'll be there but I wont have my DSM. I'll have my honda Prelude there.
