when i log in each forum has a Mitsu sign..when red it indicates new posts.after i view all of the new posts in (enter forum here) the red symbol is still red, even know there is no posts.so i have to go into (enter forum here) and click out of it and it goes away..just sort of tedeous i guess.anybody else have this problem?

Just click the "new posts" link that's between calendar & search. It'll give you all the new posts from all the forums at once, then you can just close/go elsewhere when yer done :)

This is still not "perfect". It will show threads that are already completely read for a "short" time.

Yea I get that too. But seriously, no offense, WHO CARES. >_>. This forum IMHO is set up pretty well. Yea it has some issues but its nothing that you need to get worked up about heh. I don't mind browsing thru the forums and threads. No big deal or just select the new posts.

Got anything else to bitch about in here? LOL

It's a setting in the AdminCP.
vBulletin Options
vBulletin Options > Cookies and HTTP Header Options > Time-Out for Cookie

I usually set mine to 60 seconds. Default is 900 aka 15 minutes.
