Im looking for a decent dsm to drive as a winter car. I dont mind if its non-turbo, but if it is a non-turbo it has to be a DOHC motor.

i have a nice 1g tsi awd, engine runs good, tranny shifts good, needs a new clutch, but other than that it would be a GREAT WINTER CAR. It was suppose to be sold a while ago but the guy never came and got it and paid me the rest. If i got $1500 I'd be more than happy.

Also car is driveable, clutch just slips. has little rust on fenders and such too, 110k miles I think on car.

I've been searching for an AWD in that price range. Is it the one you beat on?
Email me pics.

you refering to me? i have not beat on this one, just got it a few months ago and have never really drove it. Bought it for a friend but he has not paid me for it. Are you talking about the red talon that was at the june17th meet in rapids? thats my bro's winter beater. Its still running strong!

Got any pictures? I'm certainly interested in a decent 1g. I plan on starting the car as a winter car and turning it into a project.

What he said. Everyone beats on these cars then turns around and says they are not reliable even though they beat the piss out of it. If everyone drove their car normally they are a good reliable car. But who the hell does that!

I understand what you guys are saying. Having a car with power is useless if driven at 35mph on a daily basis. I've only just seen cars in a horrible condition, for outrageous prices.
