Ok, I need some input in this. I think my heating core might be going, but Im open for second and third opinions. After I had checked all the fluids and connections, my oil temp needle doesnt pass the initial line from the left. Also, I can't get the interior warm at all. I let the car run for a little bit before I drive it, but still nothing. If it is the core, anyone got a good one fer sale?

Low oil pressure is normal for a DSM
Replace your thermostat to potentially fix the heat problem. Its probably stuck open, so you'll never get anything warmed up. It's the easiest thing to do in this case, I think, and will probably take care of your problem.
Oil temp has nothing to do with "cabin" temp.

your oil temp?!? Do you mean coolant temp? Try a new thermostat first.

I am guessing this is an aftermarket gauge.
If you engine collant temps are ok, and it sounds like they are not.
Then I would check the gauge.
Seeing as your engine temps are questionable, replace the thermostat.

Jim, are you drunk? Or have you just been hanging out with Simes alot.
Heathn_style, I still say its the thermostat. It seems like the only thing that could cause your problem and not cause some other obvious problem would be a blocked heater core.

To sum this up, change your thermostat.
